OUR REVIEW OF HOMEQUEST

HomeQuest by ThemeFuse is an extremely sleek, professional premium WordPress theme specifically aimed at the Real Estate market. With an expansive shortcodes collection, several unique color styles, flexible Control Panel operations and a multitude of customizable options, HomeQuest is among the elite Real Estate themes released during the 2012 calendar year.

ELEGANT DESIGN THAT ADDS CREDIBILITY AND INCREASES TRAFFIC

The HomeQuest WordPress theme has an elegant design that adds credibility to any website while increasing traffic due to its organized layout and attractive graphics. From the very first moment a visitor gets a glimpse at this theme in action, he/she will notice a slew of toggle-rich features that are ideal for optimizing searches, finding the desired properties and learning more about real estate in general thanks to the News and Blog feeds.

HOMEPAGE LAYOUT

The HomeQuest layout begins with an optional Featured Content Slider that can be configured to appear immediately below the Top Navigation Bar (which uses drop down menus for sub-pages and categories). The slider does an excellent job at catching the reader’s eye while not overbearing other important sections contained within the homepage, not to mention you can set it to automatically animate/rotate content via the back-end Control Panel. Post excerpts within the slider contain a large background image with optional “ribbons” for entering customized text, along with plenty of room at the bottom for property details and price. At the bottom-right of the slider is an area with tiny circular icons for manually scrolling through slides.

The visitor Search function (among the most important features for any front-end user) is attached to the homepage slider and has all the necessary categories such as: location, sell/rent/buy, number of bed/bath, price range and “Find” button.

Moving farther down the homepage, the reader will encounter a “Latest Properties” section displayed in a four-column layout, complete with thumbnail image, property type, asking price, rooms, location and call-to-action button. Of course, the Demo screenshot I’ve pasted below is only an example of one method for putting HomeQuest’s features into action. You can add your own creative/professional touch to all content and decide how to get the best out of your real estate website.

There is also a separate Homepage Blurbs section that gives a business feel to your real estate site by offering a brief text description of services followed by buy/sell/rent/lease sections complete with icons.

NEWS AND BLOG FEEDS

One of the features that I particularly enjoy when it comes to the HomeQuest theme by ThemeFuse is the way it places importance on the News and Blog feeds. There is even an additional News slider for featured stories that can be easily programmed from within the framework.

Provided you have the quality content, this section can add an enormous amount of clout and respectability to your website; sending a message to visitors that you provide not only information on individual properties but also aim to inform readers on market trends, insider tips and more.

GOOGLE MAPS INTEGRATION
