Convertible  is a highly customizable theme featuring a drag-and-drop page builder for creating one-page websites and landing pages.

Because of the one-page nature of the theme, it does not support any WordPress 3 menus.

The theme installs with three custom widgets:

ElegantThemes Convertible incorporates five widgetized areas; Area 1 to 5. You can add a widget area by dragging the Widget Area module to the canvas of the Landing Page Builder.

The Convertible theme options panel includes two pages; the with ElegantThemes commonly available ePanel and the Convertible specific Landing Page Builder.

The ePanel includes four vertical tabbed areas:

• General Settings
• SEO
• Integration
• Support Docs

Usually, the ePanel serves eight tags. The Navigation, Layout Settings, Colorization, and Ad Management tabs have been removed, since there is no use for them in this unique theme.

The General Settings page allows you to upload the favicon, set your background preferences like color, texture and image, and select your desired font and color for the header and the body.

At the SEO page you can alter the ElegantThemes’ default search engine optimization settings; homepage title, homepage meta description, homepage meta keywords, enable canonical URL’s, and enter your custom separation character.

Any tracking code such as Google Analytics can be entered in the appropriate text area on the Integration page.

The Landing Page Builder

The Landing Page Builder is the place where you create the landing page or the one-page website. When you start the Landing Page Builder for the first time, you will see a blank canvas like in the example above.

Building your page is simply a matter of drag-and-drop. Just drag any of the 18 modules to the canvas. Convertible comes with the following modules:

Each module has two icons; a Delete icon on the left, and a Settings icon on the right. You always have to confirm the deleting of a module, by clicking a Yes button.

The Settings icon launches a dialog box where you can enter your text, URL, dimensions – whatever can be relevant for the module chosen. In case of a Text Block for example, you have the entire WYSIWYG editor at your disposal – including the kitchen sink.

By adding columns first, you can build more advanced layouts; first you drag the column, and next you add your module(s) to the column. Convertible offers six types of column:

• 1/3
• ¼
• 2/3
• ¾
• Resizable

So, building a webpage with Convertible is basically a four step process:

1. add a module
2. Enter the content and configure the module
3. add columns
4. resize and rearrange the modules
