The deLirium WordPress theme is designed for personal blogs. The design, however, is very professional and allows users to create a web presence that looks as if it cost a lot more than it does. It’s also highly customizable. The widgeted areas can be set up to display different widgets depending upon what the visitor is looking at. This makes it easy to give your visitors a more personalized experience.
The deLirium theme has a black background by default. All ThemeShift themes, however, allow you to easily change the background to something custom via the admin panels. The admin panels on this theme control many of the features, including layout, color and other options. There’s no need for you to alter the code that makes the site run to make most changes.
There are, of course, bloggers out there who enjoy changing the code on their own and deLirium takes them into consideration, too. The code used for the site is fully accessible. It’s also fully commented, so you’ll have no trouble finding out what sections of the code need to be changed to customize the site to your liking.
The deLirium theme comes with three localization options. You can display your blog in English, Spanish or German. The theme does this natively, allowing you to offer your blog in different languages with no more than the click of a mouse. If one of these languages happens to be your first and you’d prefer to receive support in that language, ThemeShift offer full support services in all three of those languages.
The deLirium theme is sold under the GPL license. This means that you can use this theme on as many sites as you want. There is no restriction on using it for commercial purposes, either, and if you want to use it as a CMS for a monetized site there is no licensing restriction standing in your way.
With the features and design included in this package, it’s a good option for those who maintain a personal blog. If you want to take it to the next level and make it a commercial blog, this theme is also suitable for those purposes. This should present a compelling option to anyone who wants professional design without having to pay the very high prices that custom design commands. The ease of use is another significant benefit.
